and not by any third party organisation. All donated funds go directly to the Carnival.

Have you got an idea for a pre-carnival event or a fundraiser you think might work, but your not sure.
Rather than put it to the back of your mind put it to the committee

Sports events, maybe something to do with music. A really unusual kind of marathon, or  competion, perhaps you would like to get into the Guiness book of records with your idea at the same time as helping the Carnival. 
The Committee operates an open meeting procedure, if you would like to come along and present your suggestion we usually meet on the first Wednesday of the month at Victoria Park Community Centre or telephone our Chairman:

We would really like to hear from you.

We are looking for new voluntary members this year to help with the fundraising and running of the carnival. As each year passes,  the attendance and the organization of the carnival increases.
Due to the retirement of some of our long standing members and the huge amount of work involved we find we have openings for new, caring, people with the wish to give back to the community and with perhaps new ideas, to assist in the continued enjoyment of this eagerly awaited annual event.
